Nominated for Nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, 'The Full Monty' is a feel-good musical comedy about six average-looking, unemployed steelworkers on the verge of a bold plan to get themselves out of debt. Only how far will they go?

Based on the internationally acclaimed film of the same name, with book byTerrence McNally and original music & lyrics by David Yazbek, this grin and bare-it story follows a group of down-on-their-luck guys needing to make money. After seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a touring company of professionals, The Chippendales, the men decide that, regardless of their looks, ability or anything else, they're going to put on a one-of-a-kind strip show at a local club. Pushing through fears, building self-esteem, and rediscovering the importance of family, 'The Full Monty' has great heart.

The show's director, Dave Cortez, along with his incredibly talented team of actors, designers and technicians, bring this show to life with wonderfully developed, relatable characters the audience will absolutely fall in love with. The role of Jerry Lukowski, the show's main character, is portrayed by ATAC Award Winner Anthony Cortino, who brings a great deal of humanity and sincerity to this part. Lukowski has serious heart and charisma, and a genuine tenderness for his son, although he's struggling with child support payments after losing his job. Faced with adversity and desperation, Lukowski won't let anything stand in the way of he and his son. Not even baring it all in front of a club full of strangers.

'The Full Monty', with its cast of richly relatable characters and outrageous fun, will have you on The Edge of your seat all the way to the end. And you can't help but wonder: Will they bare it all?

The show will run February 15 - March 17, with performances Friday & Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, and Sunday matinees at 3pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.WoodlawnTheatre.com, or by calling our box office at210-267-8388.
