Led by Max Von Essen (HELLO AGAIN!), Mike Wartella (RENT), and Matthew Gumley (ELF), "What's So Funny?" a new play by Broadway actor Wesley Taylor will get developmental reading, also including the talents of Christy Pusz (TALK RADIO), Alexandra Socha (SPRING AWAKENING), Logan Rowland (THE ADDAMS FAMILY), Don Stephenson (THE PRODUCERS), Rachel de Benedet (CATCH ME IF YOU CAN), Merwin Foard (THE LITTLER MERMAID), and Valerie Fagan (THE ADDAMS FAMILY).

As an actor, Taylor recently originated the role of Michael "Mouse" Tolliver in the world premiere of Tales of the City at The American Conservatory Theatre. Broadway credits include the original Lucas in THE ADDAMS FAMILY and the original Franz in ROCK OF AGES (Theatre World Award/OCC nomination).

As a writer, Taylor wrote and co-created popular industry spoof webseries called "Billy Green," which boasted performances by people such as Audra McDonald, Patrick Wilson, Kristin Chenoweth, and Nathan Lane. Other one-acts/plays: Star-Crossed, The Game, The Delivery Boy.
