You might think the artists coached by Xtina and CeeLo had it easy on the first night of live shows: all they had to do was watch. But for the artists of The Voice, nothing comes easy. An extra day usually just means more time to get nervous, to doubt your song choice, to trip up in final rehearsals. But now it's time to face the music. As she did last night, Xtina gets the party started. She invited Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino of "A Great Big World" onto the show to premiere their new single, "Say Something." It's a pop sugar rush and perfect start to the night in the video.

Also featured was Matthew Schuler's rendition of Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball:"

Tamara Chauniece's take on "I Will Survive:"

And Jaquie Lee's version of " I Put A Spell on You:"

The Voice is a performance competion in its fifth season. Competitors have already passed the blind auditions and team sorting phase. In the future look forward to the final live performances from the judges.

In the final live performance phase of the competition, the top artists from each team will compete each week against each other during a live broadcast. The television audience will vote to save their favorite artists, and the two artists with the lowest number of votes will be sent home each week. In the end, one will be named The Voice and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

The Voice is a presentation of Mark Burnett's One Three Inc., Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series is created by John de Mol, who executive produces along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
