Bleeping Crazy Entertainment, by special arrangement with the Cherry Lane Theatre has announced that WOMEN ARE CRAZY BECAUSE MEN ARE A**HOLES, a raucous and long running comedy that's played over four years of performances in Los Angeles and Chicago will start a summer fling in NYC June 12 - 21 at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street, NYC. In WOMEN ARE CRAZY BECAUSE MEN ARE A**HOLES, Nicole is finally meeting Dylan after a two month long internet courtship. Five couples come together for brunch to celebrate it, but it will be the last reasonable thing any of them will do for the day. Secrets will be screamed, sex will be weaponized, and sanity will have its throat sliced. They are assholes. They are crazy. Try to love them anyway.

"The uproarious laughter of the packed houses I encountered at the L.A. show proved to me this show had to come to NY," says Producer Jaki Silver. "I couldn't be more excited to help bring this hilarious battle of the sexes to the east coast and expose the cast to a new audience."

Writer and Director Brad T. Gotfred wrote, directed, and executive produced the feature film The Movie Hero, which played at over 20 film festivals worldwide, winning numerous awards including First Prize at the Rhode Island Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival. Gottfred's first play, Marry, F**K, Or Kill, was called "a guilty pleasure for veterans of the single life" by the Los Angeles Times. It went on to an Off Broadway premiere in the fall of 2011. Brad's first web series, Sex and Love Conspire to Destroy the World, was released by MyDamnChannel. His first novel, "Forever for a Year", will be released in July 2015 by Macmillan/Holt.

WOMEN ARE CRAZY BECAUSE MEN ARE A**HOLES features Blake Boyd, Devlin Borra, Justin Sintic, Mandy Henderson, Nikki McKenzie, JJ Nolan, John Weselcouch, Baxter Defy, Tunisia Hardison, and Christine Donlon.

Production design featutes stage management by Jill Woodward, scenic design by Christopher Swader and Justin Swader, lighting design by Carey Dunn, Consulting Producer is Steven DeLuca.

Performances of WOMEN ARE CRAZY BECAUSE MEN ARE A**HOLES are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00PM; Saturdays and Sundays at 5PM. There is also an 8PM performance on Thursday, June 18.
