Good morning, BroadwayWorld! Because we know all our readers eat, sleep and breathe Broadway, what could be better than waking up to it? For your most important theatre meal of the day, we've rounded up the big news you missed yesterday, what's on the agenda today, and a few extras to start your day off right.

The Bacon: See what's on the griddle today...

Cup of Joe: Perk up and revisit yesterday's big stories...

Broadway Weather Forecast: We like this new, upward trend! Mostly sunny with a high of 59 degrees.

Quote of the Day: Theatre can come about anywhere... Tell us about your favorite everyday storytelling experience!

"My interest in theatre and storytelling began in my mother's kitchen. It was a meeting place for my mother's large circle of friends."
-- Lynn Nottage (via BrainyQuote)

Audio of the Day: Since we've been getting quite a bit of news lately about Broadway cast recordings, get your ears ready for the IF/THEN release (hurry up, June!) by listening to an excerpt of the tune "Here I Go", performed by Idina Menzel!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to current OF MICE AND MEN star Leighton Meester, turning 28, and future star of Broadway's THE REAL THING, Cynthia Nixon, hitting 48 today!

Of Mice and Men marks Meester's Broadway debut. She is well known for her role on the TV series Gossip Girl, and her upcoming big screen projects include God Only Knows, Like Sunday, Like Rain, Life Partners, The Judge and Any Tom, Dick, or Harry. Among Nixon's many Broadway credits are Wit, The Women, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Indiscretions, Angels in America, The Heidi Chronicles, Hurlyburly, The Real Thing (1984) and The Philadelphia Story. She won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for Rabbit Hole. Nixon is well known for her portrayal of 'Miranda Hobbes' in the long-running TV series Sex and the City.
