In this week's SNL, the cast harped on the New England Patriots controversy concerning deflated footballs. Featuring Tom Brady (Taran Killam), the show revealed that he doesn't know as much about football as one might think, saying, "I wasn't even aware that footballs could be inflated or deflated." Blake Shelton served as host and musical guest on this week episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE which aired Jan. 24 on NBC. Shelton is the first country star to appear on SNL in its 40th anniversary season, and the first host to pull double duty.
