It's a sad circumstance that while Broadway boasts some of the world's greatest singers, and the New York metropolitan area boasts ten major sports teams that require "Star-Spangled Banner" vocalists before every game, the schedules of performances and games don't often make appearances by current Broadway stars convenient.

Fortunately, the New York Knicks had a Sunday night slot to fill this past weekend before their matchup against the Sacramento Kings, and there to fill it was one of Broadway's glimmering stars, Sierra Boggess.

Currently playing SCHOOL OF ROCK's straight-laced principal hiding a rebel past, Boggess has been a Broadway favorite since her debut as THE LITTLE MERMAID and her thrilling soprano has graced both THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and its West End sequel, LOVE NEVER DIES.

The Knicks lost a close one, 88-80, but Boggess sure started the evening on a winning note.

Y'all asked for video!! Here is video!!! Man that was an awesome New York experience! :)
