On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, guest Jason Sudeikis is freaking out over remembering his lines as John Keating in the new off-Broadway production of DEAD POETS SOCIETY. Watch the appearance below!

Classic Stage Company is now presenting DEAD POETS SOCIETY, a new play based on the beloved 1989 film, starring Jason Sudeikis as John Keating. Performances for Dead Poets Society began on October 27, at CSC (136 East 13th Street) with an official opening Thursday, November 17 and will play a limited engagement extended through Sunday, December 18.

Written by Academy Award winner Tom Schulman, adapted from his screenplay, and directed by John Doyle, Dead Poets Society is set at a rigorous all-boys preparatory school renowned for its ancient traditions, where the unconventional Professor Keating inspires his students to defy conformity, and to live passionately.

The cast of Dead Poets Society also includes Francesca Carpanini, David Garrison, William Hochman, Cody Kostro, Yaron Lotan, Thomas Mann, Zane Pais, Stephen Barker Turner and Bubba Weiler. Scenic design is by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting design by Japhy Weideman and sound design by Matt Stine.
