VIDEO: Irish Dancer Takes Her Shot with HAMILTON-Themed Tap Routine

Irish tap dancer Hannah Redlich decided to 'Take A Shot' at Broadway's hottest musical, posting a video to YouTube of her choreographed dance to HAMILTON's high-energy number "Guns and Ships." Explained the hoofer, "If Lin-Manuel Miranda can rap about Alexander Hamilton, I can Irish dance to rap about Alexander Hamilton! Talk about fusion!" Redlich choreographed, directed, danced, and edited the routine.

Hamilton recently won 11 Tony Awards, including one for Best Musical. The new musical has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composerLin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."

HAMILTON is the acclaimed new musical about the scrappy young immigrant AlexanderHamilton, the $10 Founding Father who forever changed America with his revolutionary ideas and actions.
