Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz has revealed the remarkable Companion music video for his new single, "The Woman I Love." Directed by Elliott Sellers with graphics by Blend Studios, the clip which debuted last night via Mraz's own @jason_mraz Twitter account is the result of an unprecedented online contest where Twitter users were invited to answer the question, "What does 'The Woman I Love' mean to you?" More than 10,000 responses followed, tweeted, of course, in 140 characters or less. The best of those submissions were then used to inspire the storyboarding and overall video concept. Users whose ideas are featured in "The Woman I Love" are credited by Twitter handle. Following the video's premiere last night, the hashtag #TheWomanILove trended Worldwide on Twitter. In honor of Valentine's Day, for the next two weeks, select DSPs are offering "The Woman I Love" as a specially-priced two-track single comprising both the song and music video. The track marks the latest single from the multi-GRAMMY Award-winning tunesmith's 2012 smash, "LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD," which proved to be Mraz's highest chart debut ever. What's more, "I Won't Give Up," the collection's premier hit single, has proven one of Mraz's most popular, with sales now surpassing 5 million worldwide.

Mraz who was recently voted "Favorite Male Artist" at the 39th annual People's Choice Awards has spent much of the past year on the road with his hugely successful "TOUR IS A FOUR LETTER WORD" global tour, which included stops last year at world-famous venues Madison Square Garden, London's O2 Arena, Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks. Mraz will next head Down Under for a series of Australian tour dates and festivals to get underway in mid-March, including performances at the West Coast Blues & Roots Festival, Bluesfest, and the inaugural Deni Blues & Roots Festival. The trek follows the historic live concert Mraz gave late last year for over 70,000 people in Myanmar in conjunction with MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking), which was held at the Yangon People's Square at the base of the magnificent 2600-year-old Shwedagon Pagoda.
