Upright Cabaret Presents IT GETS BETTER Concert 11/11

On Thurs, Nov 11, 2010 at 8pm - Chris Isaacson in association with Upright Cabaret presents "IT GETS BETTER: THE CONCERT" featuring an All-Star cast of singers and musicians at Catalina Bar & Grill, 6725 W. Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

In light of the recent events surrounding the six young men and boys who tragically took their lives after being tormented and bullied, producer Chris Isaacson will bring back the beloved Upright Cabaret Revue for a ONE NIGHT ONLY concert to raise funds and awareness for THE TREVOR PROJECT, the nation's largest GLBT Suicide Hotline.

Performances by Taylor Dayne (3x Grammy-nominated pop star of hits like "Love Will Lead You Back" and "Tell It To My Heart"), Walter Afanasieff (Legendary Grammy Award-winning record producer and songwriter of hits like the Academy Award winning "My Heart Will Go On" and "Hero"), Frenchie Davis (Grammy Nominee, American Idol semi-finalist), Maxee Maxwell (member of Grammy Nominated R&B group Brownstone), Yvette Cason (Dreamgirls, Play On!), Jake Simpson (2x Star Search Grand Champion, Oprah favorite), Nita Whitaker (13x Star Search Grand Champion, tours with Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban), Jennifer Leigh Warren (Little Shop of Horrors, Big River, Marie Christine), Harlem Lee (winner of NBC's Fame), Our Lady J, Tapiwa Mugadza, Matt Cusson (Brian McKights Protege, John Lennon Songwriting Award-winner), Von Smith (American Idol) and more to come!

ABOUT Chris Isaacson & UPRIGHT CABARET

Chris Isaacson has created, produced and promoted over 450 events since forming his company in 2004 From small clubs to major theatres, Isaacson has produced some of the most influential stars of his generation including Adam Lambert (American Idol), Lea Michele (Glee, Spring Awakening), Neil Patrick Harris (CBS's How I Met Your Mother & ABC's Doogie Howser, M.D.) and more.
