2011-12 Season: Sometimes a theatre season defies easy identification. The shows are special, they are highly charged, but they don't necessarily share a common theme. When that happens, as it does in Theatre Tulsa's 89th season, you have Eclectricity! Experience this power in an eclectic mix of productions, surging with that spark that makes live theatre special!

Up next is URINETOWN: by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis

One of the most uproariously funny musical in recent years. URINETOWN, a 2002 Tony winner, is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. Inspired by the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, URINETOWN is an irreverently humorous satire in which no one is safe from scrutiny. Praised for reinvigorating the very notion of what a musical could be, URINETOWN catapults the "comedic romp" into the new millennium with its outrageous perspective, wickedly modern wit, and sustained ability to produce gales of unbridled laughter.
