TwentySomething Productions is born out of Amy-Jean Ward and Ben Vivian-Jones’ combined passion for contemporary, American musical theatre.

The London cabaret circuit is not only a platform for established actors and emerging artists to showcase their talents, but those of the undiscovered songwriters. Writers like Scott Alan have soared to success by capturing the imaginations of performers worldwide.

Lesser-known composers such as Pasek & Paul or Kooman & Dimond have also achieved much success with their songs, but not the same status for their full productions.

We at TwentySomething not only want to expose these composers to a wider audience but bring their shows to the UK to be seen by their ever-expanding fan base.

Musical Director Scott Morgan has recently written and produced his own musical Geek! at HeadGate Theatre, which is now in workshop for a London audience. Scott is an accomplished musician and has played for a variety of West End concerts, most recently West End Fests (The Actors’ Church).

Lucy May Barker is currently playing Johanna in Sweeney Todd (Vaudeville Theatre). Lucy May debuted on the West End in Spring Awakening (Lyric Hammersmith and Novello Theatre). Her recent credits include Sweeney Todd (Chichester Festival Theatre); The Crucible (Regents Park Open Air Theatre); Earthquakes in London (National Theatre). Lucy also appeared in the recent film adaptation of The Woman In Black.

Jeremy Legat is currently playing Lieutenant Frank Cioffi in the European Premiere of Curtains (Landor Theatre). Jeremy made his West End debut as Boq in the cast of Wicked. Theatre credits include the title role in Hamlet with RADA aboard the Queen Mary 2. Jeremy also appeared as Christopher Whitehouse in Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story (ITV) starring Julie Walters and Alun Armstrong.

Kara Bayer is currently a costume assistant with the Garsington Opera Company. She recently rose to musical theatre fame becoming the mysterious West End Producer’s leading lady by winning Search For A Twitter Star.

Ben Vivian-Jones is co-founder of TwentySomething Productions, was a runner up in Search For A Twitter Star and has a desire for helping young talent to develop and achieve their aspirations. Ben has a passion for new writing and has worked extensively with A Stage Kindly and New Musicals Network showcasing the works of new composers. Credits include: Pirates of Penzance (Tabard Theatre); Musical Starnights (European Tour); My Big Gay Italian Wedding (Above the Stag); Bernstein’s Mass (Royal Festival Hall).
