Step 1 - Somehow find copies of two very rare 1970′s KPM 1000 series LPs featuring only the sparse rhythm section of bassist Herbie Flowers and drummer Barry Morgan, rather imaginatively titled Bass Guitar And Percussion Volumes 1 & 2.

Step 2 - Set out to faithfully bring the original recordings to their logical conclusion 40 years later by putting our dirty little overdubs all over them!

Step 3 - back in your Eames repro chair, slap this platter on your Pioneer and drop the needle baby!

For those who don't know, Herbie Flowers & Barry Morgan are giants of the British session and Library worlds. The late Mr. Morgan played with Bowie, Elton John, The Walker brothers, Blue Mink and countless others and Herbie has recorded some of the greatest bass lines in the history of popular music, including Lou Reed "Walk on the wild side," David Essex "Rock on" and David Bowie "Space Oddity".

The original records had bass panned on one side and drums and light percussion panned to the opposite side, and the tracks were usually only one minute in length. We extended them and added missing drum parts, fuzz guitars, spacey synths, percussion, Hammond organ, Rhodes, horns, vibes, marimba, xylophone and even banjo!

Shawn recorded his set, New York Trouble, at his London studio with Pierre Duplan, the incredible French engineer and one half of the Kramford Look. Andy Ross played flute & saxes while Dominic Glover blew his trumpet.

Tim added analogue synth madness to Electric Progression at his Brooklyn based studio, All Bright Electric.

Multi instrumentalist Shawn Lee is a living breathing musical polymath, and possibly the most prolific musician of his generation with over 30 full-length artists albums released to date! Born in Wichita, Kansas, Shawn has made his home in London for the past 19 years, originally brought to the UK by DJ Gilles Peterson and his Talkin Loud label, with time spent living in Los Angeles where he worked with The Dust Brothers and Jeff Buckley. Lee has steadily carved out an impressive eclectic body of work and continues collaborating, remixing, producing, composing for Film, TV, adverts and video games, in addition to playing on countless other peoples records in the meantime as well, including AM, Lana Del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keyes, Princess Superstar, Natacha Atlas, Money Mark, Bei Bei, Tommy Guerrero and Georgia Anne Muldrow.

Tim Love Lee, the eccentric A&R maverick, DJ and analog synth nut behind Tummy Touch, started out his career in music playing Hammond organ for 80s pop stars, Katrina & The Waves but it was as a DJ on the early UK Acid House scene that Lee really developed his skills as a "selector" of fine and far out music. Tim's selecting skills have landed him radio shows with the BBC and NYC's East Village Radio as well as official DJ Mix CD releases from Universal Records, Stereo Deluxe and Keep Diggin. He is currently working on his fifth artist album, to be released late in 2014.

Since their first release back in 1994, Tummy Touch has been defying convention, resisting categorisation and generally causing a scene. From the pioneering Balearic dance music of Groove Armada to the ultra hip indie styles of Tom Vek and vintage rock and soul of Little Barrie the label's unique sound is hard to pin down. The attitude, however, is obvious - a commitment to eclecticism, excitement and a having a bloody good time.
