Tony Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) will be performing with her band The Deafening in a special concert at Arlene's Grocery on Wednesday, Sept. 3, celebrating the bands new single which drops today on iTunes.

The Deafening, a ferocious four piece born of the city's eternal energy. The show is described as a raw tribute to its defiant crush - with a blues back beat and rough punk ethos, the band are the natural heirs to the Bowery's big bad seventies sound.
