EW reports that Tony Award winner and AMERICAN HORROR STORY actor Denis O'Hare has booked a multi-episode guest starring appearance on NBC's new hit drama series THIS IS US.

The actor will portray 'Jessie,' described as a friend of William (Ron Cephas Jones)." The character will make his first appearance later this season.

Along with his role in the fourth season of FX's AHS, O'Hare's TV credits include The Good Wife, The Comedians, Banshee, and True Blood. He will soon be seen in the ABC miniseries When We Rise, which chronicles the gay rights movement.

O'Hare won a Tony Award for his performance in the 2003 musical drama TAKE ME OUT and received a Tony nomination for his appearance in 2004's ASSASSINS. His other Broadway credits include ELING, INHERIT THE WIND, SWEET CHARITY, CABARET and RACING DEMON.
