How did you hear the news about your nomination?

I got a wake-up phone call from a friend of mine, a very neurotic friend of mine!

What has the LoveMusik experience been like for you?

The whole experience has been grueling and fantastic.

And the nomination just capped it all off?

Yes, it is the cherry on top, but we love the show. I don't have anything negative to say, and we love it. I'm so bad at interviews, but I truly don't have words for it.

What has your journey with the show been like?

We've done 2 readings over the past couple of years, and Hal's always wanted me for the part so it's great that it came to fruition.

What has working with Hal Prince been like?

Hal has been frustrating, and grueling and exasperating and mostly wonderful. There's nobody like him though. He's a really a brilliant, brilliant man and in a class by himself.

Your character has so many great moments in the show, is it easy or hard to slip him on and off.

It's actually a little tough especially on two show days.

What about the accent work?

It's tough with the accent and can be vocally at times as well. It's all part of the experience though, and truly it's a feast every night. The nomination makes it all the greater, and I certainly feel like I've earned it because I've done so many shows this year!
