Titan Theatre Company Announces 2016/17 Season!

Titan Theatre Company announced programming today for its highly anticipated 2016/17 season in their home as the official "Company in Residence" at Queens Theatre in beautiful Flushing Meadows Park.

Titan's Main Stage season will include the annual production of their original, Award Winning, musical version of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. The soaring adaptation by Titan Artistic Director Lenny Banovez & Titan Company Member Emily Trask returns again as a new holiday tradition continues to take hold in NYC.

This spring Titan will also lend its signature style to Shakespeare's romantic comedy TWELFTH NIGHT. The comedy will star real life Identical twins Sierra and Lauren Tothero, as Shakespeare's twins Viola and Sebastian and will run March 24th - April 9th. TWELFTH NIGHT will be directed by Banovez.

Artistic Director Lenny Banovez, Producer Kevin Beebee and company have developed a stellar reputation by offering a consistent level of innovation and quality that has taken the New York City theatre scene by storm over the last seven years. Rising from performing in a Tex-Mex Restaurant/Comedy Club to holding the title of "Theatre in Residence" at the premier performing arts venue in the borough of Queens, the Queens Theatre.

"It's an exciting year for us here." said Beebee. "Titan continues to come into its own as a truly dynamic theatre company. In addition to our exciting Main Stage season, we have exciting new partnerships and outreach programs that will provide Titan programing to all of NYC."

Titan is teaming up this year with The Metropolitan Museum of Art for their World Culture Festival, as well continued participation in their "Teens Take the Met" event. A new partnership with Ronald McDonald House will have Titan providing programming for children and their families. Titan is also in Season 2 of their FREE "Shakespeare in Queens" reading series with the Queens Public Libraries.
