Bay Street Theatre is pleased to present an evening of jazz with Broadway veteran Tina Fabrique on Saturday, November 27 at 8 pm. Fabrique will perform her treatment of jazz standards, songs from her CD, and by Ella Fitzgerald. Tickets are $35 and $45. Call the box office at 631-725-9500 or log on to www.baystreet.org.

Fabrique's Broadway credits include Dessa Rose (Lincoln Center), RAGTIME; BRING IN ‘DA NOISE BRING IN ‘DA FUNK; TRULY BLESSED;HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING; THE GOSPEL OF COLONUS and HARLEM SONG.

Off Broadway credits include 70, GIRLS, 70! (City Center Encores!), ANGEL LEVINE (Jewish Repertory Theater). Her national tours include THE WIZ, BUBBLING BROWN SUGAR, THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS (with Ann-Margret), ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, SOUTH PACIFIC (as "Bloody Mary" with Robert Goulet) and more.

Fabrique's regional credits include her critically acclaimed role as Ella Fitzgerald in ELLA (Hartford TheaterWorks, original production). She continues to tour nationally with this production. Her international credits include being the soloist with The Duke Ellington Orchestra and the Harlem Gospel Singers. She is being awarded the "National Museum in the Arts Award for Achievement in Performing Arts" this week.

Fabrique's new CD entitled "Tina Fabrique Sings the Great Composers" will be on sale in the lobby after the show. She will sing songs from this CD including "Night and Day," by Cole Porter; "I've Got a Crush on You," by G. Gershwin and I. Gershwin; "It Don't Mean a Thing," by Ellington and Mills; and "How High The Moon," by N. Hamilton and M. Lewis. Her gospel CD was entitled "He's Able."
