Tickets to SISTER ACT & Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at Fox Cities P.A.C. On Sale 2/7

This spring, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is pleased to present two Broadway hits with NETworks production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast April 11-13 and Sister Act May 6-11. Tickets for Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Sister Act go on sale Friday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m.

Tickets start at $39 for Disney's Beauty and the Beast and $50 for Sister Act. Tickets may be purchased at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center ticket office and online at Ticketmaster.com. The Wednesday, May 7 performance of Sister Act will be a special Family Night on Broadway event. Starting on Friday, Feb. 7, adults may purchase one ticket and receive a kid's ticket free while supplies last. The Family Night on Broadway offer applies to children 9-18 years old and is not valid on previously purchased tickets. Disney's Beauty and the Beast features the animated film's Academy Award-winning score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, with additional songs composed by Alan Menken and Tim Rice. The book is written by Linda Woolverton.

The original creators of the Broadway production are together again for this new touring production. The play is directed by Rob Roth and Choreographed by Matt West, with Costume Design by Ann Hould-Ward (Tony Award winner for her work on Disney's Beauty and the Beast ), Lighting Design by Natasha Katz (three-time Tony Award winner), Scenic Design by Stanley A. Meyer, Sound Design by John Petrafesa Jr. and Music Supervision by Michael Kosarin.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won't be found - a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior. Using her fabulous disco-ness and killer voice to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon it's nun-on-the-run time, but she finds salvation in the heavenly power of her newly found sisterhood.
