Tickets will go on sale for the new Broadway comedy An Act of God starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Jim Parsons on Saturday, February 21. The strictly limited engagement begins performances on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 and officially opens on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). Two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello will direct the play, which is based on the critically acclaimed book written by God and transcribed by David Javerbaum. Javerbaum is a 13-time Emmy Award winner for his work as a head writer and executive producer for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," and also curator of the Twitter account @TheTweetOfGod, which has over 1.75 million followers.

This spring, The King of the Universe takes on His greatest challenge: Broadway. In An Act of God, the Almighty and His devoted angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since creation. He's finally arrived to set the record straight... and He's not holding back!

Casting of two angels and the design team will be announced shortly.

Ticket Information: An Act of God goes on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, February 21, 2015 through www.telecharge.com (212-239-6200), or at the Studio 54 box office (254 West 54th Street). The playing schedule for An Act of God is as follows: Monday through Saturday at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm. Beginning June 1, the playing schedule will be: Tuesday through Thursday at 7pm, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, with matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. Please note: there will be no performance on Monday, June 29 and an added performance on Friday, July 3 at 2pm.
