We continue our interview with composer Alan Menken. He talks about his song-writing partnerships over the years with the late Howard Ashman and then, Sir Tim Rice. He also performs some of his most beloved hits, including songs from Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, King David and his new Broadway show, Sister Act.

Lyricist Sheldon Harnick recounts experiences from his 50-year career in the theater, including his partnership with the late composer Jerry Bock, which resulted in the hit musicals Fiddler on the Roof, Fiorello! and She Loves Me. In addition, Harnick performs "To Life," one of the best-known songs from Fiddler on the Roof with singer/actress Kate Baldwin . We also take a look back at Theater Talk's 2004 interview with Harnick, Bock and the late Joseph Stein taped while the three were preparing the show's Broadway revival that year. Finally, we remember critic Donald Lyons, a frequent contributor to our program, who died last week at age 73.

We welcome the cast of The Book of Mormon (Josh Gad, Rory O'Malley, Andrew Rannells, and Tony Award-winner Nikki M. James). They discuss their lengthy participation in helping to create this Broadway blockbuster.

Also on the show, Casey Nicholaw, The Book of Mormon's choreographer and Tony-winning co-director, who is credited with giving this hit musical "the Broadway magic" it needed.
