MEL BUTTERMENCH: A MEMORIAL CONCERT: Artist, Genius, Legend: all are definitely words and could potentially be used to describe the late off off off Broadway composer Mel Buttermench. Join his muse, Diane Nowandlater (Madonna Marie Refugia), and widow, Carol Buttermench (Briana Kelly), for an evening of song in commemoration of the life, struggle and work of a man who assuredly will be posthumously famous.

The Wire Mothers is a musical sketch comedy duo featuring Briana Kelly and Madonna Marie Refugia. Birthed from the loins of Philly's all-female sketch comedy group ManiPedi, The Wire Mothers will make you ugly-laugh and pretty-cry with their renditions of music from the lesser-known, gritty underground world of off-off-off Broadway.

Briana Kelly is a former member of Philadelphia based Sketch Comedy groups ManiPedi and Dog Mountain. She studied at Comedy Sportz and Philly Improv Theater with The State's Kevin Allison, Saturday Night Live's Christine Nangle, and The Kids in the Hall's Kevin McDonald. She's performed in the Ladies are Funny Festival in Austin, TX, NYC Sketch Fest, Philly Sketch Fest, and the Women in Comedy Festival.

Madonna Marie Refugia is a comedian and musician. She founded the award-winning sketch group ManiPedi and has performed in the Chicago Sketch Fest, Ladies are Funny Festival in Austin, TX, NYC Sketch Fest, Philly Sketch Fest, and the Women in Comedy Festival. She studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York and Philly Improv Theater with Saturday Night Live's Christine Nangle and The Kids in the Hall's Kevin McDonald; she has also taught sketch comedy at the Philly Improv Theater.

The Treehouse Theater is a brand new 50-seat black box theater space in the heart of midtown and offers a variety of events every night of the week. The Treehouse Theater is located at 154 W 29th St, New York, NY 10001. The show starts at 11:00pm and tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.
