Ventriloquist Jay Johnson and the cast of the new Broadway show, Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! will begin holding audience Q&A Talkbacks after each Wednesday performance, commencing on October 11th at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway.

The show opened on September 28th to strong reviews.  "In his 30-year career, Jay Johnson has converted generations of ventriloquist-avoiding Americans with his unique blend of charm, anarchy and innovative wit. In Jay Johnson: The Two and Only! he deconstructs and demonstrates his lifelong obsession, aided by a "cast" that includes 'Bob,' 'Amigo,' 'Darwin,' 'Long John La Feat,' 'Nethernore – the bird of Death,' 'Spaulding,' 'Arthur Drew,' 'Jackie and Ga Ga,' and 'Squeaky,'" state press notes.

According to co-creators and co-directors, Paul Kreppel and Murphy Cross, "The Wednesday talkbacks offer the audience a rare look into what happens to Jay¹s puppets once the performance is over, and, like a bonus track on a CD, is an added part of the actual show."

Wednesday performances begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the Helen Hayes Theatre box office (240 West 44 Street, NYC) and by calling TeleCharge at (212) 239-6200.
