The Songwriter's Beat presents the 6th Annual Songwriter's Beat Festival at the Cornelia Street Café (29 Cornelia Street), July 22nd to the 24th. Thursday's time is 8:30PM while Friday's and Saturday's at 9PM.

Admission is $10 plus a $7 food/drink minimum; reservations are recommended. Festival proceeds benefit Feel the Music!, a nonprofit music/arts education program for children and families impacted by trauma, loss and illness; for more information, visit: http://musicandhealing.org.

The Songwriter's Beat Festival, New York City's only festival celebrating performing songwriters returns for three consecutive nights this July and features 18 top performing songwriters including acclaimed artists Martha Redbone, Bertha Hope, Felicia Collins, Steve Addabbo, Valerie Ghent, Rob Morsberger, Peter Calo, Deni Bonet, Ann Klein, Deborah Berg and more at Greenwich Village's legendary Cornelia Street Café.

Three Song Contest winners - Amanda Homi, the band Walking Upright and AJ Roach - will perform their winning songs at this year's Festival.

The Songwriter's Beat is an acoustic night for performing songwriters, where all are encouraged to perform new material in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. More information can be found at http://songwritersbeat.com.
