The Players Guild of Leonia presents Swing! The Musical, directed by Chris Watson with musical direction by Ilya Mazlov. Conceived by Paul Kelly, original direction and choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, originally produced by Jerry Zaks.

Utilizing some of the best music from the Swing era, this show contains limited dialogue. Instead, it tells its stories entirely though music and dance. Some of the well-known swing-era hits include "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing), " " In the Mood," " I've Got a Gal in Kalamazoo," " Sing, Sing, Sing," and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (of Company B)." It's all about good, old fashioned fun. Swing vibrates with a joyous confidence in life and love. You will leave exhilarated and in a thoroughly happy mood.

Performances run from May 2nd though May 18th on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Performances will be held at The Civil War Drill Hall Theater, 130 Grand Avenue, Leonia, NJ. Tickets are $24/$20 for seniors/students respectively.
