Music, beer, wine and finger food will top the program for the first annual Oakland East Bay Symphony's Bach & Brew event scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 6-9 pm at Linden Street Brewery, 95 Linden Street, Oakland. Linden Street craft brews by brew master Adam Lamoreaux will be featured and also on sample will be beers and artisanal wines made by members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony. Additional food items will be available from gourmet off-the-grid food trucks and members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony will perform throughout the evening under the baton of Music Director and conductor Michael Morgan. The event is sponsored by Bell Investment Advisors, Mueller Nicholls Builders and Linden Street Brewery and all proceeds will benefit the Oakland East Bay Symphony. Tickets are $25 adults and $15 for designated drivers or under 21 years of age and may be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bach-brew-tickets-11245027179. Michael Morgan says "As much as we love giving big concerts with lots of people, we're also looking for ways to get closer to our audience and make more personal connections. Adding beer and wine will just make things that much more festive for old or new friends."

Craft Beers, Artisanal Wine Tastings, Bach and More

Symphony musicians will share a wide assortment of delicious tastes including special brown ale, oak-aged winter ale and coffee stout made exclusively for the event by members of the brass and flute sections. Artisan wines will include a wide set of grape varietals from all over northern California that are handmade by members of the oboe section. The fine Linden Street Brewerycraft brews by Adam Lamoreaux will also be on tap to sample and for purchase of pints.

Music will be performed by members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony strings and winds with conductor Michael Morgan accompanying on keyboard. Later in the evening, Symphony cellist and vocalist Rebecca Roudman with her band, Dirty Cello, will bring together a high-energy mix of soulful blues, gypsy jazz and dance music.
