Following a victory at the Down Under Improv Festival last month, the comedy ensemble [By The Mummers] return with five nights of entertainment this September!

On Monday September 8th, the collective celebrates the late Sid Caesar's birthday with a one night only performance of Neil Simon's 'Laughter on the 23rd Floor'*. Presented at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, the high speed comedy was inspired by Simon's youthful experience as a staff writer on Caesar's Your Show of Shows. Tickets are available at ByTheMummers.com for only $10!

Every Wednesday in September, PLAY [By The Mummers] takes over the Treehouse Theater with an evening of musical improvisation at 10pm. Admission is FREE with a one drink minimum ($3).

A collection of character driven performers delivering character driven performances, [By The Mummers] original musical 'BLOOD' was a 2011 Next Link Project selection of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Backstage heralded the production as "one of the freshest and funniest shows seen at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in a long time" and the company as "a raft of comic knockouts".

[By The Mummers] events this month are produced under the banner of Frank Cardillo's Life is But a Theme and features Brian Depetris, Michael Gilbert, Holly Hansen, Matt Harvey, Jake Ottosen, Chris Palmieri, Kati Schwartz, Andrew Sklar, Kristie Wortman, and Tolly Wright.
