The Joyce Theater Foundation today announced that,
through a generous grant by MetLife Foundation, $25 tickets will be available to the upcoming
American premiere of the Sadler's Wells London / Sylvie Guillem production of 6000 miles
away
at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater, April 4, 5, and 7, 2012. All tickets can be
purchased through www.DavidHKochTheater.com/events or by calling (212)-496-0600.

Continuing its tradition of providing lead support for accessible and inclusive programming
at The Joyce Theater since 2011, MetLife Foundation will subsidize 450 tickets – 150
for each performance – to the highly anticipated American premiere of 6000 miles away
starring internationally acclaimed dancer Sylvie Guillem. Through the generosity of MetLife
Foundation, the seats, originally priced at $50 each, will now be $25.

"MetLife Foundation has a longstanding commitment to bringing the vitality of dance to diverse
communities and making arts experiences more accessible to audiences," said Dennis White,
president and CEO of MetLife Foundation. "We are pleased to partner with The Joyce Theater
and support this special discounted ticket initiative."

"The Joyce is thankful for the extraordinary support of MetLife Foundation that will wonderfully
make it possible to provide $25 tickets for the American premiere of 6000 miles away," said
Linda Shelton, executive director of The Joyce Theater Foundation. "Ms. Guillem has so rarely
performed in the United States and we are excited to have this opportunity to present this special
production to New York City audiences."

Widely recognized as one of the world's greatest dancers, Ms. Guillem stars in this new evening

Featuring the work by three of today's most important choreographers: Mats Ek, William
Forsythe and Ji?í Kylián. 6000 miles away, a reference to last spring's devastating earthquake
and tsunami in Japan, features iconic dance-maker William Forsythe's new duet, Rearray,
for Ms. Guillem and Teatro alla Scala Ballet étoile Massimo Murru. Acclaimed Swedish
choreographer Mats Ek has created a solo, Bye, for Guillem, set to Beethoven's last piano sonata.
Completing the evening is a duet from Kylián's work 27'52," performed by dancers handpicked
by him.

The Joyce Theater Foundation's 2012 Spring Gala will be held at 7:00 PM on the night of
the American premiere performance, Wednesday, April 4, 2012. The Gala will include the
performance of 6000 miles away, followed immediately post-performance by a Gala dinner and
dancing on the Promenade of the David H. Koch Theater.

Gala tickets can be arranged through www.Joyce.org or by calling (646) 467-8556.

Linda Shelton, Executive Director of The Joyce Theater Foundation, said, "Ms. Guillem is one
of the world's most renowned dancers, one who is rarely seen in performance on our shores. The
Joyce Theater is delighted to present the American premiere performances of this iconic new
work."

Mark Heiser, Managing Director of the David H. Koch Theater said, "We are grateful that The
Joyce Theater has created a rare opportunity to have Ms. Guillem grace the stage of the David H.
Koch Theater."
