This March, The Iridium will host four weeks of fierce female performers in celebration of Women's History Month.

HERSTORY, HER VOICE at The Iridium will showcase an eclectic mix of musicians and women thought leaders, with Grammy-nominated neo soul singer/songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello kicking off the month with three shows March 1 through March 3.

A portion of the month's proceeds will go to The Women's International Music Network (The WiMN). The WiMN advocates for women in music and audio, and produces the annual She Rocks Awards which shines a spotlight on female role models from all walks of the industry.

HERSTORY, HER VOICE at The Iridium has also partnered with Eventbrite to present "Finding Your Voice: Women Empowering Women In Music" on March 20. Moderated by LJ Malberg, Head of Music Strategy at Eventbrite, this panel will be comprised of women trailblazers engaged in a positive conversation centered on mentorship and synergy in both the business and artistic aspects of the music industry.

"When it comes to finding success as a woman, particularly a woman in the music industry, our strength comes from each other," says Malberg. "We have certainly come a long way in the many leadership roles women now have, however we still have work to be done. And we'll only get there if we come together and pay it forward."

Featured panelists include Grace Blake, General Manager and booker at The Iridium; Diane Gentile, General Manager and booker at Bowery Electric; Jennifer Sellers, Talent Buyer at Creative Entertainment Group; and Jessica Sobhraj, CEO at Cosynd, Inc. and President of Women in Music, an organization with a mission to advance the awareness, equality, diversity, heritage, opportunities, and cultural aspects of women in the musical arts through education, support, empowerment, and recognition.

Other highlights of HERSTORY, HER VOICE at The Iridium include a special performance by blues singer Beth Hart on March 7, to be filmed live for public television's critically acclaimed music series Front and Center; She Rocks "Icon" Award winner Jennifer Batten and the all-girl quartet Lez Zeppelin featuring Steph Paynes on March 8 and 9; Country music singer/songwriter Chely Wright on March 15; and Israeli singer Yael Deckelbaum with special guest Alice Tan Ridley on March 26 and 27. Yael's song "Prayer of the Mothers" was the anthem of the "Women Wage Peace" movement's 2016 March of Hope, unifiying Isreali and Palestinian women in protest of the escalation of violence in the region.

Tickets for all shows and panels will be available on TicketWeb via www.theiridium.com or The Iridium box office located at 1650 Broadway at 51st Street, 212.582.2121.
