Anna and Larry have just returned from the funeral of their best friend and roommate, Robbie. Anna struggles with her grief and tries to find solace in her passionless relationship with boyfriend Burton. When Robbie's brother Pale bursts into Anna and Larry's apartment in the middle of the night, everything changes. Menacing, profane, dangerous and yet oddly sensitive, Pale is both terrifying and fascinating and, in the end, the one who brings to Anna the unsettling but compelling love that, despite her fears and doubts, she cannot turn away. Lanford Wilson's "Burn This" is a shocking and beautiful story of grief and love.

Director Warren Sherrill has cast Karen Slack (Anna), William Hahn(Pale), John Jankow (Burton) and Drew Horwitz (Larry).

Lanford Wilson helped to advance the Off-Off-Broadway theater movement with his earliest plays, which were first produced in New York at the Caffe Cino beginning in 1964. He was one of the first playwrights to move from Off-Off-Broadway, to Off-Broadway, then Broadway, and beyond. In 1969, along with longtime associate Marshall W. Mason and others, he founded the Circle Theater (later Circle Repertory Company), a regional theatre in New York City. Wilson remained involved with Circle Repertory until 1996, when it closed.

He received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1980 for Talley's Folly (1979) and was elected in 2001 to the Theater Hall of Fame. In 2004, Wilson was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters and received the PEN/Laura Pels International Foundation for Theater Award as a Master American Dramatist. He was nominated for three Tony Awards and has won a Drama Desk Award and five Obie Awards.
