The Diamonds, a classic rock and doo wop quartet, will perform timeless hits at the Suncoast Showroom on March 29 and 30.

Best known for their 50s and 60s hits "Why Do Fools Fall In Love," "Silhouettes" and "The Stroll," the group also pays tribute to the classic four-part harmony vocal groups of the era, as well as prevalent solo artists of the time. The quartet covers timeless hits, such as "Blue Moon," "At The Hop," "Sherry," "Day By Day," "Splish Splash," "Unchained Melody," "Lovin' Feeling" and "Bandstand Boogie."

The vocal group is comprised of four musicians: original members lead singer Jerry Siggins and baritone singer Gary Owens, along with recent additions Sean Sooter and Jeff Dolan. The Diamonds have performed in a variety of venues worldwide, including numerous locations in the USA, England, Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Korea and Japan.

In 1957, The Diamonds released their biggest hit, titled "Little Darlin." Since its release, the track has sold more than 20 million copies and has been nicknamed the "National Anthem of Rock n' Roll." In addition, The Diamonds have attained three Gold records, appeared on "American Bandstand" 33 times, released 16 Billboard-charted singles and gained recognition in the Vocal Group and Doo Wop Hall of Fame.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $15.95, plus tax and convenience fees. Tickets can be purchased at any Boyd Gaming Box Office, by calling 702.636.7075 or visiting www.suncoastcasino.com.
