The Collective NY seeks submissions for its 2nd Annual Collective:10 Play Festival. Original 10-minute plays will be selected to premiere in a fully-produced Fall 2014 run at a prominent Manhattan venue and published in The Collective:10 Play Anthology Vol. 2.

The inaugural Collective:10 Play Festival sold out Off-Broadway's McGinn Cazale Theatre in the fall of 2013. Plays by 12 different playwrights were staged by guest directors including Elizabeth Kemp, Jacqueline Knapp, Ellen Burstyn, and Eddie Kaye Thomas. Volume 1 of the play anthology, which includes works by Dave Hanson, David Thigpen, Craig McNulty and more, was published in December 2013 and is available in store at the Drama Book Shop in New York City and worldwide on Amazon.

Plays of all genres and subjects are considered. The only guidelines are that the plays be 10 minutes in length and that they must speak to The Collective NY's mission to be emotionally truthful, socially relevant, and accessible.

To submit: Playwrights must register by e-mailing their name, address, phone number and the title of the play to: Collective10@thecollective-ny.org. Writers will receive a registration number and format details for submission. Registration deadline is April 5, 2014. Selections will be announced in July.
