The Broadway Experience musical theatre intensive will celebrate its 10th Anniversary season in summer 2017 in New York City.

The two-week summer intensive will not only present more than 70 classes, workshops, and lectures, but will also invite Broadway artists to come and perform alongside all participants in an end-of-program performance celebration.

"This milestone is proof that The Broadway Experience has become one of the most popular summer intensives for musical theatre students," says Ben Hartley, Founder & Director of The Broadway Experience. "We've created an incredible triple threat training ground that allows students to experience what their lives might be like should they choose to pursue a career in the performing arts."

The Broadway Experience was founded in 2006 and ran its very first summer intensive in 2008. The company has since expanded overseas and currently presents week long intensives in Rome, Italy, & Tokyo, Japan.

"My faculty and I continually build upon our ideas & programming," says Hartley. "It is important for us to stay current and relevant; to make sure that there is a synergy between training and the professional world."

The Broadway Experience will run August 7-20, 2017 at Mark Morris Dance Center. Enrollment is open and students can apply here.

2016 faculty included Ben Hartley (The Little Mermaid), Julie Barnes (Mary Poppins), Lauren Cox (SNL), Ryan VanDenBoom (Something Rotten), Sarah Parker (Fiddler on the Roof), Jacob Guzman (Newsies), Julian Reeve (Hamilton), Steven Malone (Anastasia), Karen Dryer (Spelling Bee), David Alpert (If/Then), Kevin Zak (Clinton The Musical), Ally Sheedy (Breakfast Club), Dayle Towarnicky (NYU), Benton Whitley (Stewart/Whitley Casting), Lisa Rochelle (LR Vocal Studio), Austin Eyer (Billy Elliot) and Laura Osnes (Cinderella).
