The Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry and the Puppet Arts Program at the University of Connecticut will present Fernweh by Puppet Arts Program MFA candidate Dana Samborski from Thursday through Sunday, May 28-31, 2015. There will be three evening performances Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and two matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m., in the Ballard Institute Theater located at 1 Royce Circle in Storrs Center.

In this fantastical parlor show, an itinerant storyteller takes the audience on a quest through a fairy-tale land. When a bridge troll is given a chance to go on one last adventure, he leaves his family at home and sets out. Along the way he discovers new sides to some familiar faces. Will our hero learn what is most important before it's too late? Bring your friends to this raucous romp! *FOR MATURE AUDIENCES (16+)*

Adults: $12; Students: $10. Tickets will be sold in advance through the Connecticut Repertory Theatre Box Office, located in the lobby of the Nafe Katter Theatre at 820 Bolton Rd, Storrs CT 06269. Tickets may be purchased in person at the box office, by calling (860) 486-2113, or online through the CRT website. A $3.00 surcharge will be added to any purchases made online or over the phone. Tickets may also be purchased at the Ballard Institute on the day of performances. There will be a limited number of seats. For more information, call (860) 486-8580 or visit bimp.uconn.edu.
