The Aurora Fox Hosts 30th Anniversary Fundraising Gala Tonight

The Aurora Fox's 30th Anniversary Gala will be held tonight, September 20th starting at 6pm. This unique evening of entertainment includes a professionally catered dinner, select wines, and a silent auction followed by a sample of the diverse, exciting shows being offered at The Fox this season.

A special event like this offers a once-a-year opportunity for business leaders to associate themselves with other influencers in Aurora's arts and business community and ensure the vitality and continued growth of arts for future generations to enjoy.

In addition to show tickets, golf passes and spa certificates, Gala attendees will have an opportunity to bid on a custom-built bicycle ...and not just any old bicycle. This is an official Buck Tweed Two-Speed Crime-Stopper Star-Hopper bicycle which will be delivered by Santa himself on Christmas morning.

About the "show": Through a series of show samples, attendees will be introduced to characters and scenes that span comedy, drama, musicals, regional premieres, children's theatre and more. Some of the featured shows include the Caribbean musical fairy tale Once On This Island, Berkeley Breathed's Christmas adventure Red Ranger Came Calling, a brand new musical Big Fish, a send up to Dungeons and Dragons fans She Kills Monsters, and more.

Those who attend will walk away not only entertained, but with a greater understanding of how art can impact the community, how good theatre can change and inform perceptions and how program choices can open up whole new worlds of possibilities and wonder.
