The Metropolitan Room will host the acclaimed Audrey Silver Quintet tonight, November 21st at 9:30 pm. The quintet features Audrey Silver with Bruce Barth (piano), Paul Beaudry (bass), Alex Norris (trumpet), and drums TBA. On her stunning sophomore recording, DREAM AWHILE, New York native and award-winning vocalist Audrey Silver presented a collection of beloved standards to critical acclaim. For her appearance at The Metropolitan Room, Audrey will be performing songs from her first two recordings, HERE IN MY ARMS AND DREAM AWHILE, some of her own compositions, and will be previewing songs from her third album, to be released in the Spring.

Her band includes Bruce Barth, an introspective pianist; in demand bassist, Paul Beaudry who has toured worldwide as a sideman with Steve Turre, Wycliffe Gordon, Allan Harris, Winard Harper and Eric Lewis; and trumpeter Alex Norris who has worked with The Village Vanguard Orchestra, The Mingus Big Band, Betty Carter and Avishai Cohen.
