Tessa Ferrer & Gaius Charles to Exit GREY'S ANATOMY After this Season

According to Deadline, Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles will exit ABC's long-running medical drama GREY'S ANATOMY at the conclusion of this season. With contracts coming to an end this year, the network opted not to renew the pair's, after being bumped up to series regulars this season.

Per the report, "Ferrer's Leah Murphy is a second-year resident who has been involved with Alex (Justin Chambers) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). Fellow resident Shane Ross (Charles) has been romantically linked to Stephanie (Hinton) and Cristina (Sandra Oh)."

Oh will also be departing 'GREY'S' at the end of the current season.

Recipient of the 2007 Golden Globe Award for Best Drama Television Series and nominated for multiple Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series, "Grey's Anatomy" is considered one of the great television shows of our time. The high-intensity medical drama, now beginning its tenth season, follows the personal and professional lives of a group of doctors at Seattle's Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

"Grey's Anatomy" was created and is executive-produced by Shonda Rhimes ("Scandal," "Private Practice," "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge"). Betsy Beers ("Scandal," "Private Practice," "Casanova"), Mark Gordon ("Saving Private Ryan"), Rob Corn ("Chicago Hope"), Tony Phelan and Joan Rater ("Law & Order: Trial by Jury"), Zoanne Clack and Stacy McKee are executive producers.
