Founding member of world renowned comedy troupe Monty Python, noted director Terry Jones teases a uniquely arresting new stage musical endeavor he is embarking on as part of a new interview.

Asked about future projects while promoting his current gig as part of the final Monty Python shows currently occurring at the vaunted venue the 02 arena in the UK, Jones revealed that he is currently collaborating with rock icon and DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES composer Jim Steinman on a new musical piece set to premiere next year.

The new musical, titled NUTZ, is based on Tchaikovsky's THE NUTCRACKER and presents a modern take on the material and an idiosyncratic spin on the classic story.

"He's written lyrics to Tchaikovsky and I wonder why no one else has before," Jones relayed of the collaboration with Steinman.

Furthermore, Jones also confirmed of the project, "I'm directing it in Toronto in 2015."
