Veracruz comes into the match after tying Atlas de Guadalajara at home in Game 7. In a dismal sixteenth place in THE LEAGUE tables, with only one win to its credit, five ties and two losses - for a total of 8 points - Cristóbal Ortega's team is desperate to avoid the possibility of being sent down.
