Roger Alan Gindi in association with Nutmeg Productions will present Tall Grass, a dark comedy written by Brian Harris and directed by Nick Corley.

The show will begin previews at The Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street) on March 3rd with the official opening night set for March 12, 2007. It will play a limited engagement through April 15th.

Tall Grass "is a dark comedy about three couples with three unusual problems. A lazy young executive obsessed with a career-obsessed woman. A middle-aged couple whose sexual fantasy lurches out of control. Octogenarians fighting for their lives. Tall Grass shows that in romance, those in love still have an ax to grind, especially when they discover what lurks beneath the surface," press notes state.

Two of the three plays that make up the show were performed briefly in 2005 in Off-Off Broadway venues. The Business Proposal was shown at the American Theatre of Actors and won the Jean Dalrymple Award for Best Comedy Playwright. The Gerbil won The Strawberry One-Act Festival out of 40 plays produced.

Tall Grass is directed by Nick Corley (Flight, The Civil War). Scenic design is by Cameron Anderson (Café A Go-Go, Cosi Fan Tutti, Massacre) and lighting design is by Josh Epstein (The Glass Menagerie, Dame Edna: Back With a Vengeance). Costume design is by Gail Baldoni (Jolson and Co., Milk and Honey) and sound design is by Sharath Patel (The People Next Door, Cheaper By The Dozen).

The cast of Tall Grass includes: Mark H. Dold (Absurd Person Singular, Shockheaded Peter), Edward O'Blenis ("Eden," "Law and Order: SVU"), and Marla Schaffel (Tony Award nominee: Jane Eyre , Titanic).

Tickets are $51.25. The show plays Tuesday-Saturday at 8pm, with matinees Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.  Special added performances: Sunday 3/4 at 7pm, Mondays 3/5 at 8pm, opening 3/12 at 7pm.
