Times Square turned into every theatre lover's dream as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presented the record-setting 26th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction on Sunday, September 23, 2012. The all day, outdoor extravaganza featured celebrities from Broadway's biggest shows, live and silent auctions with once-in-a-lifetime experiences and exclusive backstage access, and one-of-a-kind theatre treasures. The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Bring It On: The Musical will be produced by Ghostlight Records and available on Back Lot Music, and became available for digital download on iTunes on Tuesday September 25, 2012 and will be available in stores October 16, 2012. The 2012 Tony Award Winner for Best Revival of a Musical, The Gershwins' PORGY AND BESS concluded its limited engagement at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Monday, September 23, 2012. The Gershwins' PORGY AND BESS began previews on Saturday, December 17, 2012, and officially opened on January 12, 2012. Upon closing, it will have played 322 performances. Check out photos from the Tony-winning production here!

Monday night, a slew of celebrity guests were on hand for The American Theatre Wing's Annual Gala, which celebrated its 95th Anniversary of service to the American theatre by honoring the Redgrave Family for its outstanding work and invaluable contributions to the theatrical community. David West Read's new romantic comedy THE PERFORMERS will begin preview performances on Broadway October 23 prior to its official opening night November 14 at the Longacre Theatre in New York City. Produced by Robyn Goodman, Scott M. Delman and Amanda Lipitz, THE PERFORMERS cast includes Cheyenne Jackson, Ari Graynor, Daniel Breaker, Jenni Barber with Alicia Silverstone and Henry Winkler. A packed house honored the theatrical achievements of award-winning playwright Terrence McNally at Westport Country Playhouse's annual fundraising gala, "The Full McNally: A Celebration of the Writing and Works of Terrence McNally," on Monday evening, September 24. Cast of A CHORUS LINE

NJ's Paper Mill Playhouse will present A Chorus Line, the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical conceived, choreographed and directed by Michael Bennett, with book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch, and lyrics by Edward Kleban. The production will be directed and choreographed by Mitzi Hamilton, one of the dancers in Bennett's original taped workshop that inspired the 1975 Musical. A Chorus Line will begin performances on October 3.The Cast met the press, and BroadwayWorld was there for all the festivities. Check out more photo coverage here!

Manhattan Theatre Club's production of a new version of Henrik Ibsen's AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes opened last night at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The show features Boyd Gaines, Richard Thomas, Maïté Alina, Gerry Bamman, Kathleen McNenny, Randall Newsome, John Procaccino, Michael Siberry, and James Waterston. The Little Sisters of Hoboken have gone Hollywood in the highly anticipated, latest installment of Dan Goggin's international smash-hit Nunsense franchise: NUNSET BOULEVARD: THE NUNSENSE HOLLYWOOD BOWL SHOW, which will kick-off a National Tour at the Schauer Arts Center in Hartford, WI on Monday, October 4, 2012.
