On Monday, Atlantic Theater Company held the grand reopening of its main stage Linda Gross Theater following a historic $8.3 million renovation of the landmark theater housed in a nineteenth century church in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. A dedication ceremony hosted by Atlantic founding members Emmy and Golden Globe Award® winner Felicity Huffman and Academy Award® nominee William H. Macy officially christened the newly renovated theater, featuring a gala cocktail hour attended by Atlantic company members, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and government officials and a special musical tribute. Julian Ovenden, Rosalie Craig

The new musical FINDING NEVERLAND just premieredin Leicester on September 22, where it will run through October 13. The cast features Julian Ovenden as James Barrie, Rosalie Craig as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, Liz Robertson as Mrs DuMaurier, and Clare Foster as Mary Barrie together with a cast of 20 and a live orchestra. Alan Thicke

Seven-time Emmy nominee and “America’s Dad” (Growing Pain’s) Alan Thicke is starring as iconic TV personality Jack Bailey in the world premiere of Queen for a Day: the Musical. The 12-performance show is currently running through October 7th at the brand new state-of-the-Art Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. Thicke is scheduled to perform in 10 shows only. Will Chase, Stephanie J. Block, Chita Rivera and Rupert Holmes

Roundabout Theatre Company will present the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes’ Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The show is set to open on November 13, 2012 and will star Stephanie J. Block (Edwin Drood), Will Chase (John Jasper), Gregg Edelman (Reverend Mr. Crisparkle), Jim Norton (Chairman) and Chita Rivera (Princess Puffer) with Andy Karl (Neville Landless), Jessie Mueller (Helena Landless), Betsy Wolfe (Rosa Bud), Nicholas Barasch (Deputy), Peter Benson (Bazzard), Robert Creighton (Durdles) and ensemble members Alison Cimmet, Nick Corley, Janine DiVita, Jenifer Foote, Justin Greer, Shannon Lewis, Spencer Plachy, Kiira Schmidt, Eric Sciotto, Jim Walton and Cody Williams. Lauren Molina, Jason Tam

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company presents Marry Me A Little, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, conceived by Craig Lucas and Norman René, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein, starring Lauren Molina and Jason Tam. Marry Me A Little kicks off their 2012 - ’13 season and will be followed by a newly revised version of the 1991 play, The Old Boy byA.R. Gurney. Performances will continue through October 27th, with two additional Wednesday matinees on October 17th and 24th. Tuesday night, the five-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical ROCK OF AGES hosted a Military Tribute Night, at which 160 Active Duty, Retired & Veteran members of the U.S. Military were given free tickets to the show, and one Veteran in attendance received the Grand Prize of a new mortgage-free home, courtesy of The Boot Campaign and Benchmark Mortgage. FEINSTEIN’S AT LOEWS REGENCY continues its Fall 2012 season with the return engagement of Tony Award-winning actress and singer Betty Buckley. In an exclusive four-week run, Ms. Buckley premieres her new collection of songs “The Other Women: The Vixens of Broadway” and performs highlights from some of Broadway’s most popular shows. Paul Rudd, Ed Asner

Craig Wright's GRACE, starring Paul Rudd and Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon, with Kate Arrington and seven-time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner, opened last night, October 4, 2012 at Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER was already hard a work this week recording their track for the album.
