The annual Tony Eve Cocktail Party took place on Saturday, June 8th, at the Lugo Caffé (One Penn Plaza) in Midtown. The event celebrated this year's Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre and Special Tony Awards. The 2013 Tony Awards were broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 9th. The Awards were presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing and hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. The cheers, the laughs, the magic and the music, there was all that and more at the 67th Annual Antoinette Perry Awards for Excellence in Theatre, or as they are more commonly known, the 'TONYS'! The 2013 Tony Awards were broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on CBS and BroadwayWorld was on hand in the winners room. Click here for complete coverage!

The casts of KINKY BOOTS, PIPPIN, MATILDA and many more shows and entertainers joined host Neil Patrick Harris at the 67th Annual Tony Awards on CBS! After the ceremony all of Broadway's best traveled to the Plaza for the star-studded, annual Tonys Ball. BroadwayWorld was there for the celebration and you can check out more photos here!

The Public Theater presented its Gala performance of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park on Tuesday night. The complete cast of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE featured Glenn Close as Ruth, Rocío Del Mar Vallés as Isabel, Montego Glover as Kate, Jonathan Groff as Frederic, Eric Idle as The Sergeant, Kevin Kline as The Pirate King, Norm Lewis as Samuel, Anika Noni Rose as Mabel, Martin Short as Major-General Stanley, and Betsy Wolfe as Edith. The Public Theater recently announced a one week extension today for the new Public Lab musical Venice, with book by Eric Rosen, music by Matt Sax, lyrics by Matt Sax and Eric Rosen, additional music by Curtis Moore, and choreography by Chase Brock. Directed by Eric Rosen, Venice began performances on Tuesday, May 28 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, June 23. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, June 30. MCC Theater recently announced that Neil LaBute's new play, Reasons to be Happy, also directed by LaBute, will now extend through Saturday, June 29th. Reasons to Be Happy is a companion piece to LaBute's critically-acclaimed award-winning play,Reasons to Be Pretty, first produced at MCC Theater in 2008 before moving to Broadway where it was nominated for three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Play. Performances began at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on May 16, 2013. It officially opened this week and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the curtain call here!

Ghostlight Records recently released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella, currently available digitally and in stores. The cast celebrated the release with a signing and performance at Barnes & Noble yesterday, and you can check out more photos from the festivities here!
