25 of New York's dancers took to the stage for this year's Calendar Girl burlesque show, in a strip-a-month journey through the calendar. BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the cast of Bronx Bombers in action! Currently showing at Circle in the Square Theatre, the play follows Yogi Berra and his wife Carmen through the triumphs and trials of the New York Yankees, bringing multiple generations of star players together onstage. Based on Annie Proulx's 1999 collection of short stories ("Close Range: Wyoming Stories"), which in turn were based on The New Yorker's original 1997 article "Brokeback Mountain", the opera follows the lives and forbidden love of cowboys Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist. The opera was commissioned by Gerard Mortier and the New York City Opera and is set to run through February 11th. Click here for more photos.

The 2014 Nightlife Awards, the 12th annual event, featured a star studded guest list including Jason Robert Brown, Bill Irwin, Stephanie J. Block, Nellie McKay, and Bruce Vilanch. Featuring interviews with 20 of musical theatre's female stars, Nothing Like A Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater launched on January 27th in the company of some of the dames themselves. Laura Benanti, Judy Kaye, Debra Monk, Donna McKechnie, Donna Murphy, Lillias White and Karen Ziemba celebrated the book's release at the headquarters of Oxford University Press. Neil Simon's first musical is set to be the opening production of New York City Center's 2014 Encores! season. Starring Rachel York and Judy Kaye as Belle Poitrine, and Christian Borle as all six of her lovers, the musical follows self-invented celebrity Belle as she pursues wealth and social standing. The audience selects the winner in this musical comedy featuring pageant contestants vying for the crown - all played by men. Written by two time Tony nominee Bill Russell, Pageant makes its return to the New York stage for the first time in over twenty years. Click here for photos of the cast in rehearsal.

BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the cast of The Bridges of Madison County, starring Steven Pasquale and Kelli O'Hara (pictured). With script and music from Marsha Norman and Jason Robert Brown, The Bridges of Madison County is currently in previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre and is set to open February 20th. Bertolt Brecht's play gets a new treatment in this in-the-round staging, which features 10 pieces of original music, performed by cast members doubling as musicians. Mother Courage, which follows a powerhouse matriarch fighting to keep her family together and business afloat during war, features Kathleen Turner in the title role.
