Buntport Theater has announced its October events!

In addition to the monthly events that you can always catch (Third Tuesdays, the Narrators, Joan and Charlie at the Denver Art Museum, and our all-ages programming), Buntport is rounding out the month of October with a couple of exciting performances.

For the first two weekends of the month, we will be traveling our award-winning production The Rembrandt Room to the Millibo Arts Theatre in Colorado Springs. This one-woman show will play six times from October 6th through the 15th. Reservations can be made with Millibo. We are excited to bring this production back to the stage and to test the touring waters.

The following weekend on October 21st and 22nd, the Buntporters will battle it out in an evening titled So You Think You Can Watch Us Dance. Paired with professional dancers from 7dancers (a branch of Cherry Creek Dance), members of Buntport will twirl, jump, and shuffle their way to hopefully earn the highest score. This fun, silly evening will culminate in the much-requested remount of Buntport's dance routine from our previous head-to-head battle with 7dancers. Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 at the door and can be purchased at buntport.com. Both performances start at 8:00 and are at Buntport Theater, 717 Lipan Street in Denver.

Both of these offerings are part of Buntport's 16th Season, which has kicked off with a remount of our hit show Middle Aged People Sitting in Boxes, running through September 24th. Season 16 will also include two world premiere productions (that are not yet written), all of our monthly programming, a live radio drama, an on-going pop-art art piece (that will happen 6 times throughout the season- you'll never know when you might catch an installment), buntporTEDtalks (coming soon on Tuesday September 20th), collaborations with Stories on Stage and Augustana Arts, and more! Join us for our sweet 16.
