THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY AMONG TV Series Featured on New Sony DVD Releases

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) will help solve the perennial "what to get" shopping dilemma for TV fans this holiday season by releasing the complete series of four of the most popular and acclaimed TV series, beginning this fall. With a variety of comedy, drama and suspense, these box sets will provide options to please any member of the family. SPHE will begin rolling out some of the most treasured titles this fall including The Jesse Stone Collection, Bewitched: The Complete Series, The Partridge Family: The Complete Series and Damages: The Complete Series, all marking their availability for the first time as a complete set.

Robert B. Parker's THE JESSE STONE COLLECTION (streets September 3)
Starring Tom Selleck as small-town police chief Jesse Stone, this highly collectible eight-disc set includes all the installments of the critically acclaimed crime drama. In addition, the set comes with a collectable Paradise Police Department baseball hat.

BEWITCHED: THE COMPLETE SERIES (streets October 15)
For the first time ever, this set contains all eight whimsical, colorized seasons on 33-discs. Anchored by Elizabeth Montgomery's portrayal of beautiful, good-hearted witch Samantha, Bewitched also stars ?Dick York, Dick Sargent and Agnes Moorehead as Samantha's meddling mother, Endora.

THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY: THE COMPLETE SERIES (streets October 15)
Also debuting, The Partridge Family, TV's favorite rock 'n' roll family, will be available as a 12-disc set spanning its four seasons. The series follows the family of six who decide to form a rock band and tour the country in their groovy psychedelic school bus. The show was nominated for five Golden Globe Awards.

DAMAGES: THE COMPLETE SERIES (streets October 29)
Finally, Damages: The Complete Series will be available in a 15-Disc set. The television drama centers on the unscrupulous Patty Hewes, played by three-time Emmy and Golden Globe winner Glenn Close, with Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, The Internship) as Patty's ambitious protégé, Ellen Parsons.

In addition to the four new TV on DVD collections, SPHE will re-release The Shield: The Complete Series and I Dream of Jeannie: The Complete Series as newly repackaged and priced sets. The Shield will be available on September 3rd and I Dream of Jeannie on October 15th.

THE SHIELD: THE COMPLETE SERIES COLLECTION (streets September 3)
Michael Chiklis, winner of both an Emmy and Golden Globe for his role, stars as Rogue cop Detective Vic Mackey in the critically acclaimed series. The boxset contains all 88 episodes on 28 discs plus a bonus disc, with previously released special features including cast auditions, behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted scenes, cast and crew commentary, and more. The show also stars Catherine Dent, Walton Goggins, Michael Jace, Jay Karnes, David Marciano, Benito Martinez, David Rees Snell, Cathy Cahlin Ryan and CCH Pounder.

I DREAM OF JEANNIE: THE COMPLETE SERIES (streets October 15)
One of the most beloved sitcoms in television history, I Dream of Jeannie is being re-released as a 20-disc box set featuring the magic of all 139 episodes. Created by best-selling author Sidney Sheldon, the series stars Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman as the adorably mismatched couple who cleverly blend romantic and slapstick comedy.
