Tap Soul Productions presents the New York City premiere of "The JL Experience" at SOMETHIN' Jazz Club 212 east 52nd Street NY, NY 10022 Friday February 27th at 7pm.

J.L. Williams (of Broadway's FELA! and Cotton Club Parade) brings his one man show to the New York City jazz stage for one night only. The evening features mastery tap dancing and original songs written by J.L. Williams from the upcoming off-Broadway musical "Show Me the TAP... Show Me the SOUL!" J.L. Williams will also pay homage and tribute the pioneers of American Black History and Culture. Light and sound design is presented by Freddy Matos and Luster Chauncey-Williams serves as the host for the evening. Additional vocalists, tap dancers, and musicians casting will be announced at a later date.

"The JL Experience" premiered in Los Angeles, January 12th, 2013 at the Stella Adler Theater to two sold out performances and a second sold out engagement in Los Angeles September 14, 2013 at the Complex Hollywood for one night only. The show has an approximate running time of 90 minutes with no intermission. General Admission is $20 with no tax and no food or drink minimum.
