Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this next edition, we caught up with Jessica Phillips who is starring as 'Marla' in LEAP OF FAITH- currently in previews at the St. James Theatre (opening night set for April 26)!

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

I think it was Les Miz. Classic, right? Eponine forgot her lyrics in the middle of 'On My Own' and sang two bars of la la la in the place of the words. I was completely star struck.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

Hmmm. Well, I don't have a particular ritual so much as I am chronically running late. My poor dresser.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

I think I'd have to say that was during Tommy when I knocked myself out on stage with an accidental chair to the head. Flew clean out of my wig and hit the deck. We were in a blackout, thankfully, and when I came to in the next lighting cue, I did a full army crawl to the closest wing. Hilarious. I was lucid enough to grab my wig on the way off, though.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Anything Cynthia Nixon has ever played.

Who is your Broadway crush?

Norm Lewis, with or without a cane
