Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this next edition, we caught up with the one-and-only George Salazar, who is currently starring in the revival of Stephen Schwartz's GODSPELL!

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

I think the cast of GODSPELL would agree with me in saying "Tramp Call" is our most unique pre-show ritual. 45 minutes to the start of the show, we jump on the trampolines to get the blood flowing and get our stomachs ready for a 2 hour and 15 minute marathon of crazy fun.

...okay maybe it's more like 2 hours of crazy fun and 15 minutes of crucifixion.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

At the end of Act One, Uzo Aduba and I go offstage to grab two saw horses on which we serve our intermission "wine." Back in November, just DAYS before press previews, I twisted my ankle pretty bad (swelling, bruising, and tons of ice) and continued to do the show on said bad ankle. So bad, in fact that for two weeks, I wore a bulky cast that made my right leg look wooden under my costume.

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

I'd love to play Freddy Benson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!

Who is your Broadway crush?

That's easy. Lindsay Mendez.

Where can people stalk you on the web (twitter/fb etc.)?

I can be stalked on Twitter! Follow me: @georgesalazar!
